H.E. D. Tsogtbaatar, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, within the margins of his visit to the United States, met with the American investors in Washington D.C. During the meeting, the Minister updated the investors on the current conditions of the investment environment in Mongolia and made an introduction on the efforts of the Government on protecting the interests and rights of the foreign investors’, as well as, the Government’s measures to make investment environment more reliable and stable.
The Minister highlighted that Mongolia, located between the two large world markets, is rich in natural resources and accessible to regional economic integrations. Mongolia has open, democratic, law-abiding system, where human rights are respected, and with highly educated population, and encouraged the investors to invest in Mongolia, as there are wide opportunities to access the markets of the neighbors, as well as the wider region.
The event was attended by the representatives of over 30 companies, who interested in investing in Mongolia, as well as, the members of AmCham, that have already activities in Mongolia.
