FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS POLISH AMBASSADOR

H.E. Mr. Tsogtbaatar Damdin, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, met with H.E. Mr. Michael Labenda, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Mongolia. During their meeting they have exchanged views on current cooperation and bilateral relations of the two countries.

The Foreign Minister Mr. Tsogtbaatar highlighted that the relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Poland have been growing in recent years and expressed his willingness to work together in seizing the opportunities to foster trade and economic cooperation, to launch project implementations under the Agreement between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the Republic of Poland on extending a tied aid credit and promote cooperation in the education sector.

Moreover, Foreign Minister had hoped that the Government of Poland’s decision to open the Polish Embassy in Ulaanbaatar will come to an effect soon.

Ambassador Mr. Labenda congratulated Foreign Minister Mr. Tsogtbaatar on his appointment as the Minister for Foreign Affairs and introduced his plans on opening of the Polish embassy in Ulaanbaatar, organizing of the consultative meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and intergovernmental Joint Commission meeting and a visit of the Polish Parliamentary delegation to Mongolia in a near future.
