D.Tsogtbaatar, Minister for Foreign Affairs, met with Congressman Don Young, Co-chair of the US-Mongolia friendship caucus of the U.S. Congress, and exchanged views on the issues of bilateral relations and cooperation.
During the meeting, Foreign Minister thanked the U.S, for its consistent support toward Mongolia’s political and socio-economic development and highlighted the need to work more actively in introducing Mongolian goods and products to the U.S. markets and increasing U.S investment in Mongolia, within the framework of expanding and strengthening the economic relations between the two countries. Moreover, the Minister invited the Congressman to visit Mongolia at a time of his convenience. Congressman Don Young pledged to pay his attention in implementing the issues raised by the Minister and convey the matters to the relevant U.S. government authorities and officials. Furthermore, Congressman undertook to work towards increasing the members of the US- Mongolia friendship Caucus.
Minister D.Tsogtbaatar met with senior officials of the world-renowned institutions such as Asia Society and Hudson Institutes; and updated them on Mongolia’s foreign policy, and exchanged views on opportunities of future cooperation with the institutions.
