28 Jul, 2020 Foreign Minister Enkhtaivan Nyamtseren received Turkish Ambassador Ahmet Yazal. Ambassador Ahmet Yazal congratulated H.E. Enkhtaivan upon his appointment as the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia. He noted that the bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Turkey has been expanding in various sectors. Ambassador Ahmet Yazal pointed out the importance of further enhancing the trade and economic cooperation and expressed that the video conference held on 27 July, between Mongolia-Turkey Trade chambers will give much needed impetus to increase bilateral trade volume.

Foreign Minister Enkhtaivan Nyamtseren expressed his content on the current development of the bilateral relations and cooperation. He requested the Turkish Embassy and the Government of Turkey for their assistance and support for Mongolians who are in Turkey and unable to return home due to restrictive measures of COVID-19 pandemic.

Both sides agreed to explore possibilities to further boost the economic cooperation and increase trade volume by developing agriculture processing facilities.
