On June 11, 2021 Minister for Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg received Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Mongolia Laura Bottà.

At the outset of the meeting, the Minister briefly touch upon the Presidential election results, vaccination program and exchanged views on the mutual recognition of vaccine certificates.

Two sides discussed collaboration in the construction of the tannery complex in Mongolia while strengthening Mongolian-Italian economic ties, particularly in the fields of agriculture and processing industry. Moreover, the parties agreed to sign the intergovernmental agreements on cooperation in the fields of education, culture, science and sport in the nearest future.
