H.E. Ms. Battsetseg Batmunkh, Foreign Minister of Mongolia met Ms. Izumi Nakamitsu, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs on 15 June 2023.

During the meeting, two sides exchanged views on enhancing peace and security in Korean Peninsula as well as current relations and further cooperation possibilities between Mongolia and the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs on facilitating Mongolia’s efforts to receive international recognition for its nuclear-weapon-free status and promoting its nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation objectives.
