Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg received the delegation led by Y.Fukuda, the Chairman of the Japan-Mongolia Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee of the International Friendship Exchange Council, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 1 May 2024.
At the meeting, the Foreign Minister thanked the International Friendship Exchange Council and its Japan-Mongolia Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee for their active engagement in strengthening bilateral relations, enhancing people-to-people ties, deepening mutual understanding and supporting the activities of entrepreneurs.
The Japanese side expressed their commitment to further deepen the friendship between the people of the two countries, increase people-to-people exchanges, implement training and events in the fields of education and human resources on a broader scale, support mutually beneficial cooperation between enterprises and actively work to expand trade and investment.
Both sides noted that 2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of cultural relations between the two countries and reiterated their commitment to work closely together to expand and develop “people-centered” relations in all fields.
