On March 18, 2021, Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg held a virtual meeting with Mr. Niels Annen, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

At the outset of the meeting, the Ministers touched upon their current domestic situations in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg informed that Mongolia received 14,400 doses of vaccines through the COVAX Facility and thanked the German Government for its generous contribution.

Minister of State N.Annen expressed his readiness to work together towards enriching the Mongolian-German ties with economic content and increasing bilateral trade and  investment.

The Ministers exchanged views on regional cooperation issues of mutual interest and agreed upon strengthening their cooperation and mutual support within international organizations.
