Deputy Foreign Minister Mrs. B. Battsetseg has received H.E. Mr. David Sproule, Canadian Ambassador to Mongolia, on September 12, 2017 in connection to his presentation of Letter of Credentials to the President of Mongolia.

Deputy Minister has highlighted the dynamic relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Canada, and noted that in addition to mining sector, there is a high potential to expand the economic cooperation between the two countries in agricultural sector. Furthermore, she asked the Ambassador to provide more Canadian support in protecting women rights, particularly to help rural women to increase their business opportunities.

Ambassador David Sproule noted that Canada attaches high importance to its relations and cooperation with Mongolia, and expressed his commitment to work towards developing the bilateral ties in different sectors.

H.E. David Sproule has served as Canadian Ambassador to Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Thailand, Norway, Libya. He studied political science and law.
