On October 19 2021, H.E. Mr. B.Munkhjin, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia received H.E. Archbishop Alfred Xuereb, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Holy See to Mongolia.
Deputy Minister B.Munkhjin noted that the friendly relations between Mongolia and the Holy See have been actively developed in the fields of culture and humanitarian assistance and expressed his commitment to further expand the bilateral relations and cooperation.
Ambassador Alfred Xuereb highlighted the importance of the development of bilateral relations between the Holy See and Mongolia, and proposed to jointly organize events in the frame of the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2022.
