Mr. Munkhjin Batsumber, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Mongolia His Excellency Mr.Philippe Merlin on September 24^th, 2020.

Deputy Minister B.Munkhjin noted that the Government of Mongolia attaches great importance to expanding relations and cooperation with its third neighbor, France, in all fields within the framework of the Action Plan of the Government of Mongolia.

Ambassador Merlin briefed and exchanged views on Mongolian-French cooperation as well as on the progress of the projects and programs to be implemented in the near future.

The two sides also stressed the importance of bilateral and international cooperation and solidarity in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
