Deputy Minister Battsetseg expressed her delight that the “LEAD Mongolia” program, which was announced during the US Secretary Kerry’s visit to Mongolia, is being implemented at a full speed and thanked Ambassador Galt for her support and contribution towards the effective implementation of the program. The Deputy Minister highlighted that Mongolia has close relations with Kyrgyzstan, Bhutan, and Myanmar, and emphasized that the Summit will provide and important opportunity to young participants from these nations in exchanging experiences, information and views.
The LEAD Mongolia program is focused on three main themes such as the environment and urbanization, poverty alleviation and unemployment, and transparency and anti-corruption. The Summit is a part of the series of events organized within the framework of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the United States.
