On 4 September, 2024, H.E. Mr. Munkh-Ulzii Tserendorj, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Sweden presented his Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.

Ambassador Munkh-Ulzii Tserendorj conveyed greetings of H.E. Mr. Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, President of Mongolia, and highlighted that this year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Sweden. Moreover, Ambassador Munkh-Ulzii Tserendorj expressed his commitment to further develop the bilateral relations and cooperation in many fields including trade, investment, environment, renewable energy, culture and arts.

His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden expressed his interests in historical ties between Sweden and Mongolia, and the nomadic culture of Mongolia, tourism, and stated his belief that the bilateral relations between our countries will further expand.
