On 8 April 2020, H.E. Mr. Tugsbilguun Tumurkhuleg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Thailand accompanied by his spouse Mrs. Doljinsuren Tsend-Ayush, had a farewell audience with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand at Sra Pathum Palace in Bangkok.
During the audience, Ambassador T.Tugsbilguun expressed his deepest gratitude to the Royal Palace and the Office of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Projects, for their valuable support in discharging his duties as Mongolia’s Ambassador during his four and a half year-tenure in Thailand and expressed his satisfaction with ever growing friendly ties between the two nations. In particular, the Ambassador informed Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn that the “School Lunch Project” initiated and implemented under the patronage of Her Royal Highness for schools in rural areas of Mongolia has been successfully implemented in 5 schools of 3 aimags.
Furthermore, the Ambassador noted that the two sides are working to sign a Memorandum of Understanding to introduce the “Royal Rainmaking Project” in Mongolia, and expressed his sincere appreciation to the Office of Her Royal Highness Maha Charki Sirindhorn’s Projects for its support and willingness to share extensive expertise that Thailand has accumulated in rainmaking technology initiated by His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn congratulated the Ambassador on his successful mission in Thailand and expressed satisfaction with the successful implementation of collaborative projects implemented under Her Royal Highness’s patronage in Mongolia.
Moreover, in the course of the audience, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in her capacity as the Executive Vice President of the Thai Red Cross Society presented Mrs. Doljinsuren Tsend-Ayush, spouse of the Ambassador of Mongolia with the Red Cross Medal of Appreciation, First Class by Royal Command of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, President of the Thai Red Cross Society, in recognition of her contribution to the activities of the Thai Red Cross Society.
