On 1 March 2016, H.E. Mr. Tugsbilguun Tumurkhuleg, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Thailand attended the opening of the exhibition commemorated to the 20th anniversary of Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand in Bangkok and delivered his remarks. This day marks the very first ASEM Summit which was hosted by Thailand in 1996. In his remarks, Ambassador talked about Mongolia’s perceptions on ASEM evolvement over the past two decades and preparations for the upcoming 11th ASEM Summit to be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on 15-16 July 2016. Ambassador further briefed the public on the events being organized on the ASEM Day in Mongolia.
H.E. Mr. Chaisiri Anamarn, Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and Dr. Charit Tingsbadh, Director of the Center for European Studies, Chulalongkorn University delivered their opening remarks at the opening ceremony of the exhibition. The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, in collaboration with the Center of European Studies, Chulalongkorn University during 1-6 March 2016 at Thailand Knowledge Park Center, Central World, and on 14-18 March 2016 at Chamchuree Square. The exhibition is aimed at promoting greater awareness on ASEM among the Thai general public and youth.
