Ambassador Sh. Battsetseg presented a copy of her letter of credence to His Excellency Pablo Anselmo Tettamanti, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Argentine Republic, on March 18, 2021 and officially assumed her duties. During the virtual ceremony, Ambassador Sh. Battsetseg underlined that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Argentina and affirmed her commitment to actively developing bilateral cooperation in the fields of agriculture, trade, tourism, education and sports.

Deputy Minister Pablo Tettamanti emphasised the friendly relations between the two countries and expressed his readiness to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations as well as organizing a Joint working group meeting within the framework of the Technical cooperation agreement signed by the two Governments and a political consultation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, later this year. He closed the virtual ceremony by wishing to meet personally with Ambassador Sh. Battsetseg when she presents her letter of credence to His Excellency Alberto Fernández, President of the Argentine Republic.
