On May 30, 2022, Her Excellency Mrs. Battsetseg Shagdar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Federative Republic of Brazil presented her Letters of Credence to His Excellency Mr. Antônio Hamilton Martins Mourão, Vice president of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Vice President received credentials from Ambassadors of nine countries due to the last minute emergency travel of H.E. Mr. Jair Bolsonaro, President of Brazil to Recife State, hit by the natural disaster.

Having conveyed greetings from His Excellency Mr. Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, President of Mongolia, to His Excellency Mr. Hamilton Mourão, Ambassador Sh.Battsetseg expressed her full commitment to further develop the friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Brazil. Vice President Hamilton Mourão wished the Ambassador success in her endeavors.
