On October 26, 2022, Her Excellency Mrs.Battsetseg Shagdar, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of Cuba, delivered a lecture on “Sixty years of Friendship” to the students of the University of Havana, one of the most acclaimed universities in Cuba. The students of the Faculties of Economics, Philosophy and History of the University were present in the event. On this occasion, the Embassy of Mongolia also presented a Photography exhibition that features the beautiful nature and national costumes of Mongolia, and the 60-year history of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Furthermore, Cooperation agreements were signed between the School of Business of the National University of Mongolia and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Havana, the School of Law of the National University of Mongolia and the Faculty of Law of the University of Havana, respectively.

The University of Havana, founded in 1728, is one of the most prestigious universities in Cuba, and our students from Mongolia graduated in majors such as biochemistry, economics, law, and spanish language.
