The Ambassador of Mongolia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland S.Bayar presented the diplomatic credentials to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace on March 1, 2017.
Spouse of the Ambassador and diplomats of the Embassy of Mongolia were present at the ceremony. The diplomatic relations between the two countries was established in 1963 and Ambassador S.Bayar has become the 13th Mongolian Ambassador to present the credentials to Her Majesty.
Ambassador S.Bayar introduced the Mongolian Embassy staff to Her Majesty and discussed Mongolia-UK relations and cooperation during the meeting.
The former 25th Prime Minister of Mongolia, S.Bayar previously served as an Ambassador of Mongolia to the Russian Federation.
