H.E. R.Bold, Ambassador of Mongolia to Turkey had a meeting with H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, Secretary General of the Turkic Council headquartered in Istanbul.

Noting the prospect of the Turkic Council, initiated by the Turkic speaking countries, Ambassador R.Bold stated that Mongolia as a part of the region closely follows the Council’s activity.

Mr. B.Amreyev welcomed Mongolian interest in the Turkic Council and expressed its readiness for dialogue with neighboring countries including Mongolia. While introducing the Council’s objectives and activities, he pointed out that the Council has no political agenda hence aims to promote cooperation in wide range socio-economic areas such as trade and economy, transportation, education, sport and etc.
