Permanent Representative and Ambassador of Mongolia to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva Davaasuren Gerelmaa presented her credentials to Director-General of the United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG) Tatiana Valovaya during the ceremony held on 04 May 2022 at the headquarters of the UNOG.

During the ceremony Ambassador D.Gerelmaa thanked the United Nations for its valuable support in achieving Mongolia’s development goals and expressed her commitment to actively engaging with Geneva-based international organizations in the field of human rights and security, as well as deepening cooperation on economic, development, health and environmental issues, especially in the light of new global challenges.

Director-General T.Valovaya welcomed and congratulated Ambassador D.Gerelmaa on her appointment and outlined her main priorities of the UNOG in implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and promoting gender equality issues.
