His Excellency Mr. Badral Tuvshin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with residence in Beijing, presented his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Dr. Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan on February 1, 2024.
During the credentials’ ceremony, Ambassador T.Badral paid a courtesy call on President Dr. Arif Alvi where the two parties engaged in a comprehensive discussion on ways of promoting relations and potential areas for cooperation between Mongolia and Pakistan.
At the onset of the meeting, Ambassador T.Badral conveyed the warm greetings of Mongolian President U. Khurelsukh and affirmed Mongolia’s keen interest in fostering mutually beneficial cooperation with Pakistan. He particularly highlighted Mongolia’s eagerness to collaborate with Pakistan in the fields of transportation, agriculture, and mining sectors. Additionally, Ambassador proposed the expansion of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs as a means to strengthen bilateral ties.
In response, President Dr. Arif Alvi extended congratulations to Ambassador T. Badral on officially assuming his duties as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Furthermore, the President assured his full support for the development of relations between the two countries and expressed his best wishes for Ambassador’s success in his diplomatic responsibilities.
Mongolia and Pakistan established diplomatic relations on July 6, 1962 and the Embassy of Mongolia in Beijing is responsible for overseeing diplomatic affairs with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
