On 23 October 2023, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Tajikistan D.Bayarkhuu presented his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, Ambassador D.Bayarkhuu conveyed warm greetings from President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh to President E.Rahmon and discussed the strengthening of the traditional friendly relations between the two countries and expanding and developing cooperation in trade, economy, culture and education as well as at international and regional fora.

President E.Rahmon warmly congratulated the Ambassador on the occasion of his appointment to this highly responsible duties, and noted to extend his support and assistance in all aspects to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Mongolia and the Republic of Tajikistan in priority areas such as politics, economy, green development, energy, culture, and people-to-people ties. He also expressed his willingness to strengthen the traditional friendly relations established with Mongolia within the framework of the “Open Door” strategic policy, and to broaden cooperation at the UN and multilateral arena.
