Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Armenia (with residence in Moscow) B.Delgermaa presented her Letter of Credence to H.E. Mr. Serzh Sargsyan, President of Armenia on April 11, 2017.
During the ceremony President Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and noted that this year marks the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Mongolia. Mr. Sargsyan expressed hope that by Ambassador Delgermaa’s appointment as the first Ambassador of Mongolia to Armenia the bilateral ties will be further developed and strengthened and highlighted the need to form a legal framework in this context.
Ambassador B.Delgermaa conveyed the warm greetings of His Excellency Mr. Ts.Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia to President S.Sargsyan and assured of her efforts to develop bilateral relations and to find new avenues of cooperation in mutually beneficial fields during her tenure. Ambassador noted that Mongolia attaches great interest in developing cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union and expressed hope that Armenia as a member state would support Mongolia’s efforts.
In connection with presentation of her Letter of Credence, Ambassador B.Delgermaa held a meeting with Armenia’s Foreign Minister E.Nalbandian and director of the department of Asia Pacific and Africa V.Asatryan and exchanged views on bilateral relations.
