The State Secretary N.Ankhbayar received Ambassador-designate of Japan to Mongolia Igawahara Masaru on December 4, 2023 and received a copy of his Credentials.

During the meeting, State Secretary N.Ankhbayar emphasized that Mongolia is committed to strengthening and developing the cooperation in all sectors within the “Special Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity” with Japan, our “third neighbor” which share common democratic values.

Ambassador-designate Igawahara, delighted by his appointment to Mongolia, expressed his commitment to expanding relations and cooperation between the two countries on the regional and international stage.

The parties exchanged views on increasing high-level exchanges and strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation, and confirmed their collaborative commitment to realizing the practical implementation of the 10-year Action Plan of the Special Strategic Partnership between Mongolia and Japan.
