As part of her official visit to the Commonwealth of Australia, B. Battsetseg, Minister of Foreign Affairs, paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Sue Lines, the President of the Senate, and the Honorable Milton Dick, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Australian Parliament, on 13 September 2023, and became acquainted with the activities of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

Both parties expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations within the Expanded Partnership, based on common values of democracy, human rights and freedom. They also engaged in a detailed discussion on strengthening ties between the legislative bodies of the two countries and expanding cooperation between Parliamentary Friendship groups.

During the meeting, Minister B. Battsetseg conveyed warm greetings of G.Zandanshatar, Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia, and handed over invitations to visit Mongolia to the Presiding Officers of the Parliament.
