January 27, 2022 marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the United States. On this occasion Deputy Foreign Minister B. Munkhjin spoke with the U.S. Deputy Secretary of State W. Sherman.
The two sides having reciprocated the greetings on the 35th anniversary of Mongolia-U.S. diplomatic relations, exchanged views on the activities and events planned by both sides this year.
The Deputy Foreign Minister B. Munkhjin underscored that over the past 35 years Mongolia-U.S. bilateral relations and cooperation have developed on the basis of shared values for democracy, human rights, open and free market. He expressed his commitment to further maintain trusted political ties and enhance relations with increased economic cooperation in the spirit of our Strategic Partnership.
Deputy Secretary of State W. Sherman stressed that the United States attaches great importance to the Strategic Partnership with Mongolia and expressed her commitment to further expand bilateral relations in all areas of cooperation. On the occasion of the 35th anniversary, Deputy Secretary conveyed wishes of good health and prosperity to the people of Mongolia.
