On September 17, 2018, Mr. N.Ankhbayar, Acting State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, met with H.E. Mr. Imad Moustapha, Ambassador-designate of the Syrian Arab Republic to Mongolia.

At the beginning of the meeting Ambassador Imad Moustapha presented a copy of the Letter of Credence to the Acting State Secretary and expressed his happiness at being nominated as Ambassador to Mongolia. During the meeting, Ambassador expressed his readiness to put efforts to energize and further develop the relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Syria.

Mr. N.Ankhbayar has congratulated Mr. Imad Moustapha on his appointment as Ambassador to Mongolia. He also stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide all the necessary assistance to the Ambassador to develop relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Syria and wished a success in his endeavor.
