Aside from studying medicine in Cuba, Mongolian students also specialize in agriculture, sports and social studies.

In 2017, the Government of Mongolia has granted two scholarships for Cuban students who wish to study in Mongolia—while, the National University of Mongolia and the University of Havana are working in cooperation within the MOU established in 2016.
