Foreign Minister Ts.Munkh-Orgil met his counterpart Argentine Foreign Minister Mrs. Susana Malcorra within the margins of the “Belt and Road” summit—that took place in Beijing in May 2017.

The ministers noted the successful organization of the first consultative meeting between the Mongolian and Argentine Foreign Ministries, and highlighted the importance of continuing this dialogue mechanism.

They exchanged views on the development of cooperation in the agricultural sector and implementation of joint projects, specifically in the field of animal health and veterinary.

While underlining the Argentine capability of using nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, the Argentine Foreign Minister shared the previous experiences of Argentine in building small nuclear power generators in Australia and Libya; and therefore, expressed her country’s readiness to cooperate with Mongolia in this regard.
