Mr. Tsolmon Bolor, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Germany, had welcomed Mrs. Oyunjargal Oyuntuya, newly-appointed cultural envoy of Mongolia, on August 4^th, 2016 and presented her the Certificate of Cultural Envoy. Diplomatic officials of the embassy along with Mr. Erdenetsogt Nyamaa, Chairman, and Mr. Bold Yunger, Vice-chairman, of the “Economic club” NGO also took part in the ceremony.

            Mrs. Oyuntuya Oyunjargal has been, for the last three years, successfully organizing Mongolian artists‘ participation at the “NordArt” modern art exhibition which is held annually in Buedelsdorf, Germany. Mongolia was the “Focus country” at the exhibition last year and more than 100 art pieces from around 30 Mongolian artists were displayed at the exhibition ground. This year, Mongolian special pavilion was again presented and it is now one of the important highlights for Mongolia to regularly promote and introduce development of Mongolian fine arts abroad. Moreover, the Embassy has previously cooperated with Mrs. Oyuntuya on organizing “Long Night of Museum” and “Modern paintings from Mongolia” exhibition in Berlin.

            Ambassador Ts.Bolor congratulated Mrs. O.Oyuntuya on her appointment as the cultural envoy and expressed his confidence over her active involvement in promoting Mongolian art, history, culture and customs to the German people and strengthening of fruitful bilateral relations.

            Mrs.O.Oyuntuya expressed her appreciation for being entrusted with such honorary duty and promised to do her best. She then introduced her upcoming plans for short and mid-term actions to take and exchanged ideas on the future cooperation.
