2Mr.Tsolmon Bolor, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Germany, and Mr.Uwe Beckmeyer, Parliamentarian State Secretary of Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy, signed the Joint Declaration on “Continuation of cooperation in the training of business executives of Mongolia” on 21st of June, 2016  in Berlin, Germany.              State Secretary U.Beckmeyer noted the successful implementation of the program by the ministry and wished success to the implementing agencies on the extension of the program for three more years. Ambassador Ts.Bolor remarked that „Program participants play important roles in strengthening of Mongolian-German economic cooperation”.

Upon the signing of the joint declaration, “Manager Training Program” will be implemented through the end of 2019. The Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy funds seminar program along with participants’ scholarships, accommodation and transfer expenses and provide health and liability insurances. Participants are responsible for the cost of preparatory course in Mongolia and the international travel. Mongolian Employers’ Federation and GIZ are the 3agencies responsible for the program implementation.

A total of around 300 young managers from Mongolia have taken part in the program since 2009. Managers, during one-month stay in Germany, have the opportunity to directly experience management practices in german companies, learn from their business culture and see modern equipment and new technologies first-hand. Moreover, the fact that program participants are provided with opportunity to establish business connection with german enterprises and develop cooperation in the future is the main factor for the successful outcome of this program.
