Deputy Foreign Minister Mrs. B. Battsetseg received H.E. Mr. Eoin O’Leary, Ambassador of Ireland to Mongolia, on April 2, 2018 in connection to his presentation of Letters of Credence.

At the beginning of the meeting Ambassador Eoin O’Leary presented the copy of the Letters of Credence to the Deputy Foreign Minister. Ambassador discussed the possibilities of implementing high level visits to Mongolia and proposed to conclude the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Marine of Ireland in the near future.

Deputy Minister B.Battsetseg congratulated Ambassador Eoin O’Leary on his assignment and briefed Ambassador on current political and economic situation of Mongolia. Also she expressed interest in broadening bilateral ties in the food, agriculture and education fields and requested Ambassador to pay attention on intensifying trade and economic relations.
