Deputy Foreign Minister Mrs. B.Battsetseg received H.E. Mr. Ramzi Teymurov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Mongolia, on April 3, 2018 in connection to his presentation of the Letter of Credence.

At the beginning of the meeting Ambassador Ramzi Teymorov presented a copy of the Letter of Credence to the Deputy Foreign Minister and expressed his satisfaction at being nominated as Ambassador to Mongolia. While briefing on Azerbaijan’s current economic development situation and experiences of the promotion of investment and businesses, Ambassador expressed his willingness to work towards further broadening the bilateral cooperation, including trade and economic ties.

Deputy Minister B.Battsetseg briefed Ambassador on current political and economic situation of Mongolia and exchanged views on opportunities to strengthen the relations and cooperation between two countries.

Both sides agreed to work together on the organization of the Political Consultations in the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed in Baku last March.
